Ardison Phillips, owner/winemaker of McKeon-Phillips winery, is an artist and a former restaurateur, having owned the Studio Grill in Hollywood during the 1970’s. He was one of the first to create the “artist labels” now utilized by many wineries. The winery is located in Santa Maria and uses the highest quality fruit from vineyards throughout Santa Barbara County. This boutique winery makes small quantities of hand-crafted wines, each designed to be food-friendly. Tonight, we will have an opportunity to taste 5 of their wines, including a well-aged Syrah and Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. Each wine will be carefully paired with a different mouth-watering dish created by Owner/Chef Avinash Kapoor and his culinary staff. Avi’s innovative cuisine has received outstanding reviews from highly-regarded restaurant and food critics throughout Southern California.
